like goddamn i wonder if satoshi tajiri in 1996 realized what he was creating when he made pokemon i wonder if he realized hed be making one of the MOST successful video game based franchises in the world i wonder if he realized pokemon would be going strong for nearly 20 years to come

i feel like he was literally just like “ayeee nintendo i really liked collecting bugs as a kid lets make a game where kids get to collect little monsters and they fight itll be cute prob sell a few copies” and then he went on to like save gameboy sales and revive nintendo sales as a whole and now pokemon is a household name across much the world like

can you even imagine CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE having some cute little idea and seeing it explode and carry on through generations thats incredible and i hope tajiri is proud of himself man good job bruh

Cinquedea Short Sword

  • Dated: first quarter of the 16th Century
  • Place of Origin: North Italy
  • Measurements: overall length 54.4 cm

The cinquedea has a short, triangular, double-edged blade, with four grooves at the base - three at the centre and two toward the tip. The first two segments of the blade are finely engraved and gilt with effigy of knight on horseback under arches and between floral motifs, on both sides. The typical quillon with the arms bent toward the bottom and a small tip at the quillon-block is engraved and gilt with floral motifs.

The sword has a curved pommel engraved with floral motifs, the gilt bands feature inscriptions "AVXILIVM A SUPER" on a side, and "PRAEBENT VICTORIA" on the other. The bone grip has scales decorated with four filigree rosettes. A similar example can be seen in “Waffen im Schweizerischen Landesmuseum Griffwaffen I” by Hugo Schneider (page 56, N. 74).

A man just walked past me and said “excuse me, but you look very nice tonight darlin” I said thank you and he said you’re welcome and walked off. And that is how you compliment a woman without harassing them

No, that is still unsolicited, and thus, harassment. No amount of “darlins” is gonna make me not want to punch your ass for coming on to me without provocation.

GOD

I finally took some new pictures of the Glaucus Atlanticus Nudibranch, the old photos were of the very first one I made and not the greatest - I’ve been meaning to do this for so long.
